Emails not arriving
Find your VDM emails and your new lead emails when they do not show up.
VDM sends you emails for new leads, follow ups, posts waiting for your OK and your weekly summary. If one does not show up, try these steps.
Check the basics
- Look in your spam or junk folder. If you find a VDM email there, mark it as not spam.
- Check which email you sign in with. Open Settings in the menu on the left. Your sign in email is shown there. Lead emails go to that email.
- Open the bell at the top right of the app. It lists new leads, appointment requests and more, even if an email did not reach you.
The weekly summary
- In Settings, under "Notifications", make sure Weekly summary email is on.
- Press Send me this week's summary now to test it. The app says "We just sent one. Check your inbox (and spam folder)."
Only the owner or an admin can change this switch. New lead emails always arrive, even when the weekly summary is off.
Reminders to approve posts
The Approval reminder email is on by default. If you stopped getting it, check that the switch is on in Settings.
A team member did not get their invitation
- Ask them to check their spam folder.
- The invitation link works only once. If it expired, they can go to the sign in page and press Forgot your password?
Good to know:
- Follow up emails arrive that morning after 8 AM.
- To get alerts on your phone too, turn on Phone alerts on this device in Settings.
- Lead emails go to your sign in email. To use a different one, see Change your sign in email.
