Emails and reminders from VDM
See which emails VDM sends you, turn reminders on or off, and set your business time zone.
VDM sends you emails so you don't miss what matters. Some of them you can turn on or off in Settings.
Emails you can turn on or off
- Weekly summary email: arrives on Monday with real numbers from the last 7 days, like new leads, customers won, posts published and scheduled, and one next step.
- Approval reminder email: on by default. When posts marked Ready for my review wait for your OK, you get an email once a day if one has a date in the next day. Otherwise it comes every 3 days.
- Appointment reminders to customers: on by default. The day before an appointment, the customer gets a short email from your business with the day, time, your address and phone. Replying reaches you. Use the Appointment reminders to customers switch.
- Monthly SEO report, on Growth and Pro: arrives on the 1st. Turn it off or on with Email me this report in SEO & Growth.
Turn them on or off
- Open Settings in the menu on the left.
- Under "Notifications", use the Weekly summary email switch.
- Use the Approval reminder email switch.
The switches save by themselves.
- You can also turn off the Monday email from the link at the bottom of that email.
- Send me this week's summary now sends you one right away.
- Only the owner or an admin can change the Monday email.
Emails that always arrive
- An email for each new lead. These go to your sign in email.
- On a day with follow ups, one email after 8 AM lists everyone to contact.
- Safety emails, like a password change.
Business time zone
- In Settings, pick your Business time zone: Eastern, Central, Mountain, Arizona, Pacific, Alaska, Hawaii or Atlantic (Puerto Rico).
- Press Save changes.
Your posts go out by this clock, and the approval reminder and Monday emails arrive by it. Saving it also sets your Front Desk hours and store hours to the same zone. Only the owner or an admin can change it.
