Payment links
Send a customer a simple link to pay you, with the ways to pay that you accept.
A payment link lets a customer pay you without a store. You send the link, and the customer sees the amount and the ways they can pay.
Set up your ways to pay
- Open Leads in the menu on the left.
- Press Front Desk.
- Find the Payment links part.
- List the ways you accept. You can use cards through your business's own Stripe, PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Square, Zelle and cash.
Send a link
- In Payment links, make a link for the amount the customer owes.
- Send the link to your customer.
- Your customer opens a simple page. It shows the amount and the ways to pay you.
- The customer picks one and pays you.
When you get paid
- When a customer pays by card, you get told.
- For the other ways, like Zelle or cash, check your own account or count the cash, since the payment happens outside the app.
Good to know:
- VDM never holds your money. Card payments go through your own Stripe account, straight to your bank.
- To set up Stripe for cards, see Getting paid.
- Never send your card number, bank number or passwords in the Visi chat.
