Link your social accounts so the posts you approve can go out.

Connect your social accounts so the posts you approve can go out. Connecting never posts anything by itself.

Connect an account

1. Open Connections in the menu on the left, under Business setup. On a phone, tap Menu at the top left first.
2. Find the card for the network: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Google Business, YouTube, Pinterest or Threads.
3. Press Connect.
4. Sign in on the network's own page and allow access. VDM never sees your password.
5. Back in the app, the card says Connected with your account name.

Choose where posts go

• Facebook: if you manage more than one Page, pick one under Posts go to this Page. It saves right away.
• Pinterest: pick a board under Pins go to this board.
• Google Business: pick your business location under Posts go to this location.

Fix or remove a connection

1. If a card says Needs reconnect, press Reconnect and sign in again.
2. If that does not fix it, press Disconnect, then press Connect and sign in again.
3. To remove an account, press Disconnect on its card.

Good to know:

• Posts go to a Facebook Page, not to your personal profile.
• Instagram uses its own business sign in, so no Facebook Page is needed. If Instagram refuses, your account may need to be a business or creator account. In the Instagram app, look in Settings, then Account type and tools.
• Instagram and Pinterest posts need a photo. YouTube takes videos only.
• VDM checks each connection when the Connections screen opens.
