Publish your website
Put your website online, choose its web address, and publish your changes later.
When your website looks right, you can put it online in a few taps.
Put it online
- Open Website Studio and find "Put your website online".
- Check the web address name. It can use 3 to 40 letters, numbers or dashes.
- Press Publish website.
- It now says "Your website is live", with Open to see it and Copy link to share it.
Get comments before you publish
- In Website Studio, find "Comments before you publish" and press Make a review link.
- Press Copy link and send it to a partner, your team or anyone you trust.
- They see your draft, tap any part of the page and leave their name and a comment. Nothing on that page sends or goes online.
- You get an alert. Each comment shows in the card with the page and the part it is about. Tick Done when you have handled it.
The link works for 14 days. Stop the link ends it at once; a new link replaces the old one and keeps the comments.
Publish your changes
- When you change something, the card says "You have changes that are not live yet."
- Press Publish changes. Your visitors now see the new version.
Change the web address
- In the live card, open Change the web address.
- Type the new name and press Save address.
- Visitors who use the old address are sent to the new one.
Take it offline
- Press Take offline, then press it again to confirm.
- Your draft stays saved, so you can publish it again later.
